getting started

Postby droid_ca » Mon Jul 30, 2012 3:41 pm

So after careful planning and designing and WAITING. I might be getting started. Going to look at a frame at 5:30....The price is right the length seems doable so wish me luck . I'm hoping to start a build thread as soon as I start work on my trailer..I'm so excited about this. Going to take my small jeep to look at it and possibly buy it and if it is good I'll take the truck out tomorrow and pick it up

Good Luck!

Remember, even if it's only a frame, it doesn't exist without pictures. :pictures:

Hey Bob,

Get out the phone book and contact some of the mom and pop campgrounds and ask about abandoned 20' rv's. You may pick one up cheap. After all they don't want them cluttering up their campgrounds either.

The RV sales lots get undesirable trades in as well , so see what they have in the bone yard out back. Remember for the price you often get several hundred dollars in appliances and cabinetry so while the initial purchase might seem a little stiff remember what all is in the package.

A "want to buy" ad may net you a nibble as well. Some times ya just gotta be a good detective.
