Does anyone have a link to the pot luck sign up? Is there any planned events?
Thanks,
Bruce

Bruce, Slow mentioned that he would like to take us all on a tour of the Wyoming High County. He's found a 70 mile long dirt road that is very scenic. I know I'm up for that, whether it's a group event or not, I plan on filling lots of SD cards with photos. I haven't seen anything else listed.

slowcowboy wrote:okay. is your tear nevada 10 foot long in the sleeping cabin or the total length of the hole trailer?

and how tall.

slow

Slow, 10 ft is the whole trailer. The cabin is the exact size of a queen bed. The trailer itself is 4ft, plus the height of the frame? I can see over the top so I would say about 5 ft tall. The best thing about your gathering is you get an up close look. At a bunch of trailers. You can compare and get some great ideas.

Forgot to mention the TV is a 6 cylinder RAV. The trailer dry weight is about 1100.

Charley is 5x10 at 4 feet tall from the frame, however the frame is talled than a HF, at total its about 6 feet tall. A queen size mattress is about 4 inches wider than mine and about 6 inches too short but i love it. When (not if) i do nother i will still do 5 feet wide and maybe a foot shorter and add alot more storage. redo the galley for more storage.

Paul...WY 130 west from Laramie, then WY230 and 70 to Baggs is a scenic drive. Or 130 on to Walcott Junction. Fuel is available in Laramie. Saratoga(city park with HOT pool)Baggs and Wamsutter. Nuttin at Creston Jct, not sure about other towns. If memory serves there is a small museum in Encampment.

Wildlife diorama at Cabella's store in Sidney Ne ( I 80 exit 59) good for a couple of pics. Be sure to check out the Bargain Cave while there.

Who's got horseshoes, how about a horseshoe tournament? We've got a ladder ball, how about ladder ball world championships? Anybody got washers? Lets throw a few activities in there! I'd be happy to give a solar panel seminar How about a dutch oven clinic?

Bruce, Glad you can make it!!! I will move you up to the big table. See ya Thursday.

As far as the food thread there has not been much interest. Not sure if no one saw it or most are not interested. We will see what happens.

We'll bring American chop suey for Friday night and a cherry cobbler. We'll bring Nine Mile beef stew and an apple cobbler for Saturday. Everything will be easy dutch oven recipes. Breakfast - we'll play it by ear.

Does fishing count as an activity? :D

Dumb question here, is fly fishing the main type of fishing, or can I bring my eastern US regular pole to do some fishing. I'm used to worms and bobbers here in our lakes.

I'm ready ! Even started packing the "Slowmobile" as I go. Since I did not finish in time to do a trial run I want to pack early to minimize how much stuff I will forget. As for events, I say bring whatever you want. We can try to fit it all in. For those who have not done Dutch Oven cooking and are interested they can follow along with those that know how. All the DO cooking needs to be done in the park BBQ's so we will all be close together.
I am a photo junkie. So watch out. If you are in the witness protection program and are looking to hide in the Wyoming mountains please bring a disguise. So I would be interested in the drive Slow was talking about too. If others reading this are also interested let us know. It may depend on which day we do it. The more chatter we have the easier it is to try and accommodate everyone.
