another use for plastic pink flamingos

Postby mvperini » Thu Aug 02, 2012 9:05 am

I noticed that a lot of teardropers and vintage trailer owners have a craving for those old plastic pink flamingos and use them for yard art or to place them like flower arrangements around their trailers. So i am asking if any body has any extra plastic pink flamingos they could part with please let me know. my little buddy is in need of a pink flamingo fix......

I've tried pink flamingos. Just like rattlesnake and human flesh they taste a lot like chicken. You do have to cook the meat a bit more than rattlesnake and human flesh to get the meat beyond pink.
Pink flamingo meat should not, just like pork, be eaten if it is still pink.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Gus

My local Lowes had a big crate of them in the garden center last weekend - something like $5 each.
Noticed it and we all had a good laugh. Was tempted to buy some of them to match my light string.

You should see the whole set up in person!! Probably scared the crap out of my mother..she loves pink flamingos and we were camped 2 down from Mike and Zellie at the IRG...

Yeah, good thing you are in OR. We have lots of pink flamingos at our house. They don't match the Grasshopper, so they are not allowed in my camp (hey..it's MY trailer!)

I was able to safely save my pink flamingos and bring them home. I had to chase them all over the campground. They said some little monster was chasing them trying to eat them. I told them it was just there imagination and to behave and stay in camp but they kept running off.

We parked right next to Mike and Zellie at IRG and I kept waking up in the middle of the night to crunching sounds.......... :o
and I swear I heard muffled flamingo screams too, but Elaine said I was dreaming

I remember a story about one of the Blue Angles (Air Force performance team) who took a number of plastic flamingos and set them up in a flight formation, one one of the other wing members lawns.I have always loved practical jokes that were A, original and B, not harmful.

Thank goodness I was at the other end of the meadow and my flamingo was spared. My gnome is armed and dangerous, just in case that monster gets too close!

About 30 or maybe already 40 years ago, the students at UW-Madison did this prank: 1,008 pink flamingos on Bascom Hill.
