Electrifying my Little Guy 4-wide

It's done, finally. I have used helpful hints from TnTTT, and I thank you all who gave freely of what has worked for you.

So, here's how I electrified my Escaped2:

After a lot of contemplation, I finally got up the courage, and drilled the 2 3/4" hole for the power inlet......I hated drilling such a large hole in the side of her:

The walls are fiberglass, 1/8" plywood, 3/4" plywood and carpeting on the inside:

I put the GFI protection inside the cabinet inside the cabin, and used stranded wire, in the form of extension cords to run the 3 outlets. (I did use spade tips on the ends of the stranded wires at the electrical outlets.)

I have 3 outlets. One on the outside of the Little Guy, next to the power inlet and TV cable inlet. One in the galley, one in the cabin--both of these have surge protection.

Now, maybe I can finally take the maiden voyage in the Escaped2 :wine:

Nice work.
One thing I discovered on my LG 4 wide is that the wiring is there already to move to powered vent fan. No mention of it anywhere but I pulled the old vent off to replace and there was the wire running down the front curve towards the tongue. Little surprise that made life easier. Btw, mine is an 05.

Thanks. I just came in from laying on the ground at the front and each corner of the TD. I don't see any wiring under the TD, except for the lights. No, I haven't tried to take the roof vent out to see if there is wiring on the roof. I'll wait on that. An O2 Cool fan over a shower curtain rod is sufficing as a roof vent fan for me right now. Thanks again.

Hey, Catherine+twins--thanks!!!

Thanks!! I "FINALLY" got to camp at the Hoosier Summer Tearjerker Gathering two weeks ago. It was fun

Now for the galley upgrade

I used a separate fan in mine until I had to replace the plastic vent anyway due to oxidation. The lower end of the wire in mine was between the inner and out skin in the lower front. My inner skin is attached with staples and a trim piece about midway up the front. By pulling that, I found the other end.

Thanks again, Keith. I definitely will keep this in mind. It's tempting to take it apart......but I have a few other things I need to do before I check the fan wiring. Tempting.....tempting!!!!
