Jim and Jean, sorry to hear you will not be joining us. Once Mike goes through this first gathering I Bet he will have an annual one. See ya next year.

Bruce have a safe trip! Paul ,you too, and we will see you at Curt Gowdy on Tuesday.

I will try and call the Pinedale Ranger station for an update. I'll post what I find out tonight.

To those we have not heard from lately , chime in and let us know your plans.

Installed the license plate light last night and checked the rest of the tail lights, all is good and bright! :D

All I need is a trip to get food and water and I'm off to our gathering!

Still leaving the morning of the 15th with just my dog and myself!

Fingers crossed for no smoke and I'm sure the solar won't like it too much too :worship: .

This trip can't come soon enough I've got my cousins kids 5 and 10 driving me insane :? with noise all summer, good people and some good times are well needed!

See y'all soon! Safe driving everyone

Hi I am definitely coming to the gathering (with wyoming Jane)...I have a jetta to pull my teardrop...but never pulled it up elevation...any ideas how hard this might be for my little car? Its a stick shift...also I have a kayak and wanted to know if we will be near water. :)

You are going to have some issues between Cheyenne and Laramie near Laramie. Elk Mountain area, if you go on I80. A couple of the areas will have a crawl lane. you should be fine though in your Jetta. Nothing like going up to E-tunnel and Frisco.

Hi Denise, we are glad you are making the trip. We have a good group and it will be a lot of fun. I pull with a Jeep Wrangler which are not known as power houses, so if you pass me in the crawl lane wave and save me a spot at the Camp Ground!

Slow , you can strip me of my duties. I was so busy yesterday trying to finish all my work and get my last minute fixes done I forgot all about it.

OK, I called right now. No change from last time. We CAN have a fire as long as it is in the group fire ring and WE CAN have charcoal as long as we use their BBQ grills , so bring the Dutch Ovens and an appetite!

See ya soon!

After eleven and a half hours of driving I am in South Bend Indiana at a nice KOA. So far the Subaru has been awesome except for the nineteen miles per gallon I'm getting. I was hoping for 22. Highest I've paid for gas so far is 4.29. Crooks on the interstate.

Slow: any chance your upset is due to nerves? I truly hope you make it my friend!

I packed the bearings on the trailer tonight. I still have to get some grease for the grease gun and squirt the axle zirks full tomorrow night. Does anyone make a grease gun that doesn't leak oil everywhere? Ggggrrrr. Wednesday we go shopping for food and pack the trailer.
