I thought I'd ask the tall people here if an 80" length for the bed is long enough.
I'm 6'3" and I'm a stomach sleeper. No I absolutely can't fall asleep on my back, side sleeping is a possibility.
I sleep on a queen mattress at home and my feet/toes hang over the end of the bed while sleeping. No footboard on my bed either, they totally kill my ability to get a good night's sleep.
Last night I laid out a rectangle of tape on the floor to see if I could live with an 80" length between the head wall and the foot wall, but it looks like I will be crashing into the walls at both ends.
So I ask you, are there any 6'3" stomach sleepers in here with any advice?
The 80" length would still give me enough room on the other side of the wall for my square 7 gallon Reliance water jugs and still fit on the floor of an 8' trailer. And 84" to 86" in bed length would mean the water jugs don't fit on the floor, so that's my dilemma.
I've thought about stretching it to 9', but the profiles I'm drawing just don't look right.
