Looking really good. You must be just passed mid summer there. What is your schedule for the rest of the summer, what's to do in the winter?

Thanks guys, PcHistorian we are at the end of our summer atm (dec to feb) it hasn't been that hot a summer compared to recent years, this weekend we have a wedding to go to so the trailer will be used as we will be camping in the paddock next door. During winter we do a fair bit of camping, Easters not far away which in Australia is big for camping to a point your flat out getting a spot to camp. I've got a couple of mates that have cabins in the hills and i've usually just slept in the back of my 4wd but now i will be able to use my trailer.

Yeah, we have spring aching to get started. Because we didn't have a real winter here they are saying bug will be ferocious. (what we need right now is about -20F (-30C). and that should do it. Get em hatching then freeze them all off before they get a snack to mature with.) Which bring me to, "why the heck don't I see window bug screen systems on each and every one of these teardrops and ttt's? I mean don't come to michigan, cuz the flies will get you in the day time and the mosquitoes will get you at night! I'm thinking get a spring loaded pull down blind and reload it with vinyl screen for the double door opening on mine.

Just some updated pics, used it at mum and dads a couple of weeks ago





usually when we stay at their house its all the family and we have to sleep in a swag on the floor or do the 25k drive late at night.
Started fitting out the galley, things are a bit slow at the moment being winter here its wet,cold and dark by the time i get home from work





















just have to work out what colour stains i'm going to use
i also got my new batteries in, 2 x 120ah

LOL @ 2 x 120 Ah batteries. not that they are too small, but so BIG!

I just got a 17Ah lawn mower/motor cycle battery, because it will fit in between my wall studs, and that is battery #3 the BIG one so far. (until I can get a tongue box in next year.) I don't have an ultra cool 2 meter flat screen and a quad sound system and beer refrigerator to run, though. I'll have to do with a lap top and a cooler. I do have one of those electric coolers now though. 2A nominal draw, 4A peak to heat (I jerked my had out during the heating trials) or cooling. So 8 hours of cool until I have to go get the ice or start the car. I'm working on some solar panels but at night...

Yeah, winter building can be a problem especially if you have no garage. I worked last winter inside it with a 500W work light heating the place. The bummer was if I forgot a tool outside, I had to put the coat back on, or do a dodge out and back, in t-shirt to get it.

Yeah, I was going to say at least poly it. But stain, I'd go with a walnut in the back by the tv. Then poly it. That would look exceptional.But inside I would go lighter, maybe an red oak stain, then you'd need less light source inside. you could go cherry (dark) or redwood(medium). I think mahogany would be too dark for inside for sure, maybe out back if you wanted that in red-ish and dark. maybe a maple stain for the whole thing...

(do you have a pull out small table that houses your subwoofer? (with rims on top so the chip bowl doesn't vibrate off the edge.) :-)

Like the pull out side awning too and the flip up over the entertainment center.

Since it is a man cave, do you have a keg in there somewhere with a hose to the chairs, for refills?

Its warmed up a little bit around here, not enough to stain and seal my timber but i got a little bit done





in the next couple of weeks, and if it stops raining every weekend i'll be able to get back into it

Nice looking rig.

I like open galley. If you had doors on the cabinets it would slow you down a bit when you need to get a bear quickly.
