The working load limits all seem to be over 1klb, so pulling the fasteners through the wall/roof of the tear would be the main hazard. The threaded version could be interesting for securing a roof rack (only problem is each connector requires two hands to undo, so you wouldn't be able to remove a rigid rack solo), and the normal rings could be used to easily anchor tarps or canopies to a tear, in addition to securing cargo during movement.
I'm thinking about four or six spots on the roof for cargo/tarp duty and one or two on the trailer's side for attaching the dog's lead so I don't have to screw her anchor into the rocky parking pad at the state parks anymore.
