Thats what I have. yeah I found it on there but I posted the smaller one cause I don't think he needs the large one for his size trailer.. I just figured the adjustable output would be something he might want. Besides its almost the same price as the one he has.. Just a few dollars more..

My wife and I just did a short trip in our 5x8 trailer in October. I put in a small rv furnace 3 years ago
and it is nice to have in the colder seasons. I don't have to worry about combustion products or condensation.

We have plenty of insulation so the furnace doesn't need to come on very often.

I tested a coleman cat heater; but could not use in an enclosed space; then was going to get a buddy heater but the same problem with fumes so went to a much more expensive but much safer vented system; I installed a Dickinson marine stove and think there the best designed heater for small spaces and enclosed spaces due to there efficient design. Could not speak more highly of a heater and they look sharp and are very efficient on propane (and they dont pay me to say this; just a happy customer ). See my album with installation; used for 3 yrs now and still happy every time it gets cold and look froward to having it on.

I now have electricity on a rec lot and use an electric heater over night; the dickinson heater is too hot in a small space unless I have the window open; it doesnt make sense to do that; to save on electricity I still try to use the propane as much as possible.

Dave, does the blower and ignition on your Dickinson heater operate from 12 volt power? That looks like the cats meow, and not that large either. I assume you're running the smaller 9000, not the 12,000?

Fan (blower) is 12 V uses 1-2 amps; on adjustable settings; BUT; I dont use the blower fan so no battery power wasted / usage; its not required to run the heater but is better to move the heat around the trailer (I guess; but convection works just fine for me). Theres no internal ignition; I use a BBQ lighter; no power is necessary to operate.

Yep it is the cats meow; but Im more a dog person; either way I'v curled up beaide the fire place on many a cold nights.

The one thing to watch is to position the fire place and chimny vent (this is where lots of heat radiates) where nothing (cloths; plastic bags; coats or sleeping bags may contact or melt (or yikes maybe ignite) against the heater / vent.

I have the 9000 and it kicks out plenty of heat for a 6 ft ht 6X10 ft space; even on low; thus I got a reducer valve from the manufacturer.

OH I also got a propane tank valve gauge so I can anticipate when I need refills; it surprisingly lasts longer than I anticipate; one refille this season so far and I've had a fair amout of use out of it ...

It is a little pricy at 900 so watch for sales I got mine at 620.
