Hi Tom,
I looked up the Regal Plastics site and and have it saved to my favorites.
I also did a search on anodizing and found out that besides the stain resistance, it 's main purpose is corrosion resistance, it was first used in the 20's to protect the aluminum on sea planes from corrosion.
I really like the looks of your trailer, but I also think the dull aluminum has a look that makes the trailer look like it might have just been pulled out of a barn after being stored the last 60-70 years.
That's my delema, I like both looks.
With the cost factored in, and the fact that my trailer will be under cover except while being used I'm leaning towards the mill finish, I just don't want to be disappointed with my decision later.
I'm thinking that if I buff up a mill finish to a nice shine and then I let it weather naturally it might be the best of both looks.
Anyone else want to give me their opinion ?
Richard
I used to be pretty indecisive, but now I'm not too sure
