I have realized I have a problem on my build project. I had intended to build the Command Post inside a Portable Garage tent in the back yard. The problem is that I really did not fully grasp how big my design has grown. I finished one of my wall profiles today, and realized my overall height is close to 9 feet tall once the walls are up. My portable garage is something like 3 feet too short!

The profile wont even fit inside leaning against the wall with the bottom edge on the ground, let alone the extra 2 feet it will be when in place on the trailer. This critter is going to be awe inspiring when it's done, but for now, it's a problem!
I had thought when I was rerady to raise walls I could put the chassis on jack stands, and pull the axle and springs out and drop the frame down to just a couple inches off the ground and be ok. NOT EVEN CLOSE! right now I'm working on the theory that I can get some electrical conduit from the big orange box, and use an automotive tailpipe expander and flare the ends to make some three foot leg extensions to raise the roof. Does anyone have any experiance with this sort of thing? Any suggestions?
thanks
