He's not the only one!! I had to put the Road Foamie away and glad I did just before 2 feet of snow fell in my front yard a couple of weeks ago. Bummer though, this weekend seemed pretty nice, probably coulda gone out one more time. But the winter will allow me to make some improvements and if all goes as planned I will be ready to go for the Dam Gathering!!!

I winterized ours a couple of weeks ago and It is 25 degrees this morning. I decided to revamp some of the pump plumbing and using nylobraid in place of the PEX tubing in an attempt to reduce sound from the pump. I also added the valve/diverter kit so I can pull RV antifreeze from the jug through the pump.

We are are however thinking we may take off over the four days Nancy has for Thanksgiving, it is however a matter of where we can get in one day that is not freezing.

We're bundling up for tonight. The temperature is supposed to drop below 50 degrees.

Leaving for Fla. for a week as soon as I wake in the morning. Probably do a Myrtle Beach sometime in December. Then hoping for a early Spring so I can leave by Mid April for points west and eventually Alaska. :D

Winter, winter, what's that? Must be the slack time beween Fall and Spring, when I slap another coat of varnish on the woodie. Make no mistake, camping year round in So Calif still might have some nights when there is frost on the roof, thank goodness for the electric heater and heated mattress. I gotta find some place around here where I can enjoy the fall colors though. Hmmm, perhaps in the local mountains, about 5000 ft above sea level. We'll see.

Winter is not here yet but we are prepareing.
Today it was very warm & sunny until sundown.
Raked walnut leaves and picked up walnuts in a T Shirt all day.
Maybe drain the sprinker system tomorrow and cut the grass.
Wish we were going camping!

Winter is already here for us. Today I had to wear long pants outside for the first time while mowing the yard...but looking at the forecast later this week it's back to shorts weather so it will be OK.

I'll be working on my teardrop all day tomorrow doing some painting.
