I decided to do without a hatch, because it's one of the easiest places for water to come in. I figured if the T@B didn't have a hatch, then I don't need one either. Besides, Chell does all her cooking on the picnic table in the screenhouse.
I started a couple wooden window frames for the foamie, but in hindsight that was silly. I am trying to minimize the wood. So I am just going to get a couple aluminum windows to fit into those holes. Probably $50 each or so... So don't be terrified of the window. And if you keep the door a simple rectangle, it doesn't have to be scary either.
The inside of the standie foamie is pretty dark right now. But GPW suggested a really nice color earlier this year, that I am going to get and paint the inside with. Once I repaint the inside I'll share it with you guys.
http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/ ... -P-EverestI did some insulating on the Winter Warrior today. Maybe tomorrow is the day to do some painting on the inside of the foamie? Time will tell.
Mike...
P.S. It's too early to think about getting 500 pounds of beer!
