Well Slow, It's obvious you're quite a happy guy right now and that's a great thing... Sounds like you've had some rough times lately but hopefully that's all in the past. Life is better when you've got someone at your side. I know someone said it earlier on this post, but always remember to laugh together. I don't know which leads to which, but all the unhappy or divorced couples I know don't laugh together. All the happily married ones do. As far as asking her dad for his daughters hand in marriage, for me it was the longest day of my life and I think it was actually over and done in 5 minutes. I never sweated harder in my life!!! Congratulations to you and your bride to be. Cheers!!!

Slow when I went to talk to my future father-in-law before I could say anything he started telling me about this great opportunity in Alaska.

maybe I should have taken him up on it, Shirley and I were married 30 years she passed couple years ago as they say she loss her battle
with cancer not much of a battle when one side has all the weapons.

Now I'm having good thoughts about my woman
she's the only thing that keeps these chap covered legs astraddle this old flea bag of a horse.
Ten more miles to go should be home late tomorrow, one more cold night singing to the herd
morning finaly comes; afternoon passes, is that the corral I see? cows all locked in gate is secured
horse in his stall all bedded down with some hay and oats he deserves it he did a good job.
Taking that slow walk to the house wait! whose's that? could it be? yes Angies running this way
this ol' world isn't so bad after all.
