Ordered the floor in gray, figured the lighter color will make it seem bigger and brighter.
Also ordered, FantasticFan, regular roof vent,2- 12" round windows, 36x22 exit window, and a cool folding aluminum table that hangs on the wall but can be moved outside and hung on the exterior as well.

Got more details about the folding table that works inside and out. That is what I have been looking for.

Thanks for the information - will have to check it out. Curious - - from looking at the design wonder if you could mount it upside down and have a work surface with a lip to keep from loosing small parts/items.

Nothing better then seeing one of there trucks backing up the driveway!

I sent this sketch off to a guy that builds diamond plate boxes,

Which will be mounted to the front of the trailer to hold this,

So it will be close to the propane tank and I will run the water under the trailer and come up into the bottom of it.

Snowing and cold out so I measured out all the insulation left to go in and cut it in the comfort of the garage, even cut out the roof vents and lights so all I have to do is stick it up in place and I will have a template ready to cut out the vents in the roof.

Image

Even made some "custom" corner insulation for the nose of the trailer.

Hey PVangel

New guy here but I just started on building a toy hauler as well. I have been following your build and i have stolen, umm I mean borrowed several ideas from you. Thanks

Quick Question .. Is that an EcoTemp outdoor type water heater? Are you planning on an outdoor shower too? Or are you planning on running the hot water back into a "indoor shower" ?

After weighing the costs, price per cubic inch, use of space, weights, time involved, finishes and of course the coolness factor I have decided on these cabinets,

6' Base cabinet

6' upper cabinet

It is a bit of a change of plans for me but I think it will work, haven't ordered yet but probably will after I sleep on it.

I have stolen many ideas here, I look at it as flattery not plagiarism...

I only intend to have an outdoor shower, it takes up to much space on the inside and in general I am at a race track so just shower in my underwear after racing and nobody seems to mind( It is not a pretty sight I have been told but don't really care) . I ordered the cabinet yesterday that will house the Ecotemp, so everything will be in a sealed box outside the trailer.

After sleeping on it and re-measuring the trailer these cabinets are to big, gotta rethink it...

Floor tile showed up, looks nice!

Parts keep rolling in, just have to get the time (and good weather) to start assembly.

I ordered this door knob to try and make work because a normal rv door latch would hit the lock bar, we'll see how this works.

Image

Ceiling material, pvc wainscoting. I thought it would be easier to instal than 4x8 sheets.

Image

And the second roof vent, no fan.

Image

I should be able to work on it Sunday...we'll see.
