Last 2012 Campout

Postby nrody » Fri Jan 04, 2013 7:59 pm

We were able to take our last campout for a few days after Christmas and before New Years. We were invited to Glamas (Imperial Sand Dunes) for a few days and we had a blast. Temps were in the low to mid 60's during the day and high 30's at night. Almost everyone there had large motorhomes and campers and there we were with the tear. Another friend with a tear came down too. We stayed nice and cozy at night. Makes me very happy I insulated her very well. My daughter slept in the tent and froze her assets off

Nancy, that is such a cute and unique teardrop and you did a great job of saving/refurbishing it.

Glad you had a good time.

Hi Nancy! Glad you are doing well. I'm jealous of your late in the year camping weather. It's just too wet here :rainy:
Maybe our paths will cross again this summer,

Larger pictures please. That one is SO cool and unique. (I want to meet it in person! :-) I have often wondered about designing a door in that location. What the interior issues would be like. What the egress issues would be like. Seems to me it would be HUGELY easier to put a tarp between the trailer and the tow vehicle to have an awning for in and out. I had to build mine separately, as do most of us.
