Official Decal??

Postby Fishingtomatoseed » Sun Jan 06, 2013 8:41 pm

Does TNTTT.com have a decal or sticker that I can sport on the windows of the TD. When people ask about the tear drop or ask about building one I always point them to here. But what about all the ones that see it going down the road or when you are not around the camp site. For some reason I though that I had seen a yellow sticker on someone's build one time.

There is a business card.
Just scroll down past the one with the old web side address to the new one.

Here is one that is along the same lines as on the key chain. If there is not a problem with taking it some where to get some stickers made I may have some made.

Mike gave me permission to use this logo on our Walk the Winds 2012 shirts and mugs.

It's quite simple to reproduce.

Here's a version of the business card graphic as a small transparent background .gif file suitable for use in forum signatures (see mine below...):

101137

To use it embed either of the following strings in your signature:

Code: Select all
[album]101137[/album]

or

Code: Select all

Enjoy!

Do we need special permission to have decal made using the logo? I thought I would take it to my friendly Printer and make up a few.

If you only make one for yourself, you could get by without permission. The logo belongs to someone. You would need permission and maybe compensation to produce some if you plan to sell them. In general it is good form to get permission.

I explained to Mike what I was doing with the logo and he gave permission to use it. I consider that permission to have been for the one event I asked about, and would ask again if I did something similar.

Send Mike a PM and ask.

There was at one point a T &TTT bumper sticker that had various teardrop swoosh's including the grass hopper profile. I would love to have a copy of that swoosh and I would be happy to make my own sticker, easy to do with a printer.

I see some potential revenue to help support the forum...

I'd buy a window sticker, and maybe a bumper sticker...

That is what I was thinking. If someone made up different colors and designs. Me personally like just the swoosh TD. I would buy two.

Do you mean the one at the bottom of the home page of http://www.pamplingrove.com/ ...? Dean might be able to help you with that one.

Until there is a sticker or magnet or...? available, a person could always make a sign on poster board or white cardboard or whatever and cut it out and stick it inside, in their trailer's window.
