My E-track pieces today,

Image

Should fit flush to the tile,

Image

So I had to figure out how the bikes would fit, 5 work on paper but I think 4 is it.

Image

I think the angle setup was the best but have to check one more time, the insulation is my base cabinet mock up.

Image

I have to see still what works best...

In preparation for installing the roof vents I cut 2-1/2" plywood backer pieces so I have something to anchor the vent to.

Image

I glued them in place so I can use as a guide and cut from the inside and the screws will anchor it permanently,

Weather dependent I will cut the roof open tomorrow.

Thanks Hank!
It was a beautiful day in NY for January, clear skies and 45deg. I'll take it because I got a ton done today.

It's always scary to cut a hole in a perfectly good roof, but I measured twice (more like 5 times) and cut once.

Image

Lots of GE Silicone, should be water tight.

Image

DONE! Black one is a regular vent and the white one is a fantastic fan.

Image

I'm glad I'm past that.

Moved on to windows, have to make hay when the suns shining.

I cut out temporary plywood templates out of the 14"x14" roof vent cutouts so I could mark the holes and then use as spacer blocks,

Image

Had to use duct tape to protect the skin because I was out of blue tape...of course all the glue stuck to the metal when I pulled it off so I had to clean before setting the window.

Image

In!

Image

They are set to go between the base and upper cabinets.

Image

Looks good!

Image

Still waiting on the big window and ripped out most of the wiring I did because I am making the base cabinet smaller so i have to re do it plus I wasn't happy with what I had done.

pvangel, Howdy;

Nicccce! Looks like you almost had to much fun!

Question;
The top picture with the saw on the roof, Is it Wood with a rubber coating
thought on these kinds of trailers the roofs were metal. Am I missing
something???
Reason I ask is if the roof has a EPDM (?) rubber roof, silicone is NOT
compatiable. Dicor is the prefered sealant.

Just being courious...

It's a joy to get home and see a package at the front door!

The picture/escape window showed up today,(not sure who the old guy is in the reflection though?)

Of course the flange got bent, I assume in shipping.

Image

Image

Some pliers and an old sock so I didn't scratch it and good as new.(wait it was new?)

Image

The garage is overflowing, have to start doing more but between work and winter...it ain't easy!

Ok, Back to work...

So if I get one of these,

Image

Can I charge the rv battery off my truck battery while driving, I know I have to change my 4 prong flat plug to a 7 prong round to take power from my truck but is there a 12v input on one of these? I don't want to spend money on one if I just need to have a battery Tender hooked up to my EU1000 to keep it charged.

As I said, electrical is my weakness...
