I have some edge trim you can have if you want it. I have 3 or 4 pieces and it's 12' long so you need to come pick it up, I don't deliver

You are funny Tom! Yeah, If I didn't have that pesky work thing getting in the way I would have no problem at all getting it done in time. Looks like I'll be investing in some work lights and will be burning the midnight oil during the weekdays! I just wished the "shop" wasn't behind the house LOL... The other day I kept tripping the breaker using an extension cord (which I kinda expected) so I am plugging direct into an outlet that I ran out of the main breaker panel at the power pole, it has been working flawlessly. I was concerned about the cheapie Harbor Frght welder but this thing has been flawless.

It was "interesting" getting going today... My initial plan was to install the floor onto the trailer, then use that as the work surface, building up as I go, but then I remembered that wood has a habit of catching fire when you weld on top of it. Oh and today it wasn't even dirt... It was MUD, not bad mud, but mud just the same. I had to do some running around today so this was only about 3 hours work.

KC you got that right, this build is designed for maximum build time efficiency. The door section looked too tall until I clamped the profile strip in place just to see what it would look like, then it looked better.

Hey Tom,

Yeah, I need to get back on it! I focused on the deck for Thanksgiving, then we had a cold snap so I went back to working on the skirting, and then with the cold snap I had problems with the water main breaking, and I realized I probably DO need a heater in the place, so I bought this antique gas furnace and rebuilt it, and had a gas line extension ran to the living room/kitchen area and got it going. The deck isn't done, but it is done enough to be used. Then there was Christmas LOL... Next is my birthday Jan 21st and I want to upgrade my power pole to 200 AMPs and split off 100amps out to a bunch of campsites around the place and have a polar bear gathering,

AFTER THAT... I plan on getting back to the build... It still is a 5 day build, I just haven't had 5 days to get to it!

OK I don't know what that last post was all about!

Here are some photos. The frame is 100% done, next is to coat the floor with roof sealant tape, do something for the inside of the floor and mount it. Cutting out and installing the interior panels and headliner should go pretty quick and then it will really start to take shape...

Oh, and I got the woodshop cleaned up and usable now, still need to run power to it, and I plan to do that when I run all my teardrop hookups!

Hey Thomas, it looks like you have altered your original profile? I noticed that the profile examples you showed at the beginning of the thread, in your signature, and the previous pic's of your side wall frames had a nice gently curved piece of flat bar on the perimeter, but the pic's you just put up have a more flat shape over the doors and the front wall-to-ceiling transition. I'm curious about the change.

Yeah, the previous pics were the profile that I was aiming for, but I knew what the flar bar did was going to have the final say regardless of what I wanted LOL. I had hoped the front would gently curve more but the distance from the front of the frame to the first roof spar was so short, that the thick steel didn't want to curve and decided to bend instead. The roof ended up needing to be flat just for ease of installing the roof vent too. I think the aluminum skin will help alot and it will appear rounded except for that one spot. I think if I made that first roof spar a little lower it might have opened up the radius enough to let it make the curve, so I'll put that in the revisions pile for the next one!
