And you need a cool Rambler Wagon to tow it with!

Like this 68 Rebel wagon currently sitting in the drive after an engine/tranny swap.

Will that do? We had 62 Classic wagon when we started but it literally rusted in two at the firewall. Picked this one up for $20 and pulled it out of a pasture. We put in a later model engine and that got us a much stronger transmission. Just got it running, now to get all the little stuff fixed like body work :frightened:

You've gotta do that theme. You would be the envy of all of us Parrotheads! Add a blender for Margaritas, a little theme music and yours would be the most popular campsite around!

Slow, In your own way, you hit the nail right on the head. Each of us has built our trailer or wishes to build our trailer for our own personal tastes and needs, in other words, custom...

Ours is called Anderson's Lil Armadillo and is decked out in a Texas theme...It took us about 4 years to come up with the theme but we had the name from day 1!! We live in So Cali but hubs is from West Texas and the trailer was built down in Corpus Christi....looking at a Benroy, it just screams ARMADILLO!! It sure was fun tricking out the pillows on the inside, new Texas star drawer pulls, state dish towel framed for the artwork, and a genuine tooled naughahide tire cover!...yee haw!

sorry...all the pics are on DH's computer...will try to post some later.

We are not sure what the theme will be for our TD. As a guide, we both love fishing, touring, photography, flowers and heaps of things.
However,
Our property is called "Kody's Place"
The sofa in the lounge room is called "Kody's Place"
The recliner chair is called "Kody's Place"
The back seat of the car is called "Kody's Place"
The bed is called "Kody's Place"
The boat is called "Kody's boat"
The cool spot on the veranda is called "Kody's Place"
The lawn where the kids play is called "Kody's Place"
The tiles in front of the wood heater is called "Kody's Place"
The kids play pool is called "Kody's Place"
The carpet by each door is called "Kody's Place"

BUT!!!!

The TD is MINE! Mine I tell you! It's mine!!!
Kody CAN'T have it, NO! never, impossible, wont happen, no way! Not allowed! Suck old bones! Not in MY lifetime! I refuse to do it! She didn't build it! It's ALL MINE I tell you, all mine!

A theme, now let me see, something different to everything else. Yoohoo, Cindy?? How big did you want the photo of Kody on the wall ............?

No, it will not be related to any GSD so there. :) :) :applause:
You will all have to wait until it's finished 'cos I/we have no idea at the moment..

Working on a 1937 theme for the Jim Dandy. The plans came out in 1937. I'm building a 1937 Dodge pickup to pull it with. Spam also came out in 1937 so that seems like a natural. It looks close to a Spam can anyway. But there are just so many ways one could go for 1937. Amelia Earhart disappeared in 1937. Disney released Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in, you guessed it, 1937. Or the Hindenburg blew up. That might be appropriate. How about he Golden Gate bridge? That's when it opened.

I almost forgot. The first flying car, developed by Waldo Waterman flew in 1937.

Just so many possibilities. But I'm leaning towards the Spam theme

Rob!

I just checked, and you didn't list which teardrop you will be bringing to the Dam Gathering this year ... does that mean that there is at least the possibility that you'll have the Jim Dandy and the '37 P.U. ... ...? That would be so sweet!

It's possible. The JD will be ready. Not sure of tow vehicle but I'm working like crazy. I wasn't sure my registration went through. I don't remember but it seems I messed it up real bad. Did I order a shirt?

Those lights are nice, even though they kind of give me the hee-bee-gee-bees. :frightened: What is your planned theme? Skeletons? Pirates? Halloween? A body found on one of your search and rescue trips?
