Why add 120 volt lights. If you have a battery charger/converter you have an unlimited supply of DC. If you have AC available you run off the AC, making DC, and run all your lights that way. If you don't have AC hookups you have the ability to run all the same lighting off of your DC system. I see no need for two sets of lights. I've never seen a sailboat (other than a mega-yacht) wired with both DC and AC lighting.
Just a thought.
