Spot on Sharon! I'll be taking The Glampette to two rallies before the end of the year so people can see her in person.
It's been four months now since I picked her up and I just love her more and more. Several other welders have taken a look at her and all commented that Fred did
very nice work on her. IMO his welding skills are enviable. His talent is obvious in the quality and precision of his build whether his own design, like the Alaska Teardrop Camp Trailer, his Northern Lite Traveler, or helping me bring my original design to life. So far everyone has been shocked by how light she is (554 lbs) and that I'm able to tow her with my '94 Acura Integra. The car had no problem pulling such a light load, even through the passes on our way back to CA via I-90 to I-5. I've also taken a subsequent trip from CA to WA via Boise. On I-80 I drove Donner Pass with no problems at all. One night in Bozeman, Montana the temperature dipped down to 40ยบ and I was snug as a bug since the trailer is insulated. Backing up is a breeze. The hardest part is remembering she's back there
