Next I have to go to the authorities with my TÜV vehicle inspection report and get an official seal,
that recognizes my right to pull that trailer everywhere with my license plate.
Then I have never again to show up with it at any authorities.

Next steps will be to build the alu boxes under the deck for gear and cloth and replace the wooden deck with a 1.5 mm aluminum sheet (my birthday gift).

And then give the utility trailer the rounded shape of an micro-airstream, with a 10 inch high skirt from stainless steel all around.

Here the first picture after the first ride.

I do not see the trailer in the mirrors and I do not feel the 60 kg while driving.

Okay - removed the plywood that was only to get my title and made a pattern to cut the aluminum sheet, that will build my full size deck.

Then cut the corners with a jigsaw and made a fitting test.

Last step for today, cut from every sheet a stripe 140 x 14.3 cm that I will rivet at the outside of the middle section of my frame to make it stronger.
Into that two stripes I will drill the holes for the rivets within the next days

The hole in the middle of the deck will be closed by two doors, one for a baggage compartment for cloth, the other for a step in box for my feet, when I'm sitting inside the trailer.

Ordered a set of 24 clecos with pliers at aircraft spruce and the first sheet of stainless steel plus 24 meters of aluminum tubing at my local steel dealer.

Oooo clecos, invaluable tool! One thing about that diamond plate with rivets, getting your rivets to sit flush with the ridges is a pain in the... You can either plan ahead and place all your rivets, or bolts, in between the ridges or shave the ridges down. If it were me I would drill between them. I'm sure you may have thought of that but just some advice doesn't hurt. Lookin' good so far and good luck!

Today at 07:55 a.m. I got my official "Betriebserlaubnis" (approval to use) to tow my trailer on the streets .

Now the real fun begins !

Today I drilled 94 holes into my support sheets, that I will rivet on the outside of my frame to make it more solid.
Deburring both sides makes 188 times !
