It looks great to me!!! What were the problems and how did you solve them?
The big problem today was that I was by myself. That makes for a lot of leg work using the break.
Then theirs a lot of "Brain" work. Inside pieces that are the reverse of outside pieces, rights and lefts, upside down/right side up and you can't make up the door in the frame and then install them. You have to make and install the frame then make the door to fit then trying to hang the door by myself.
This had to be a custom door though and I really don't think I could have done it with anybody else around...Distractions.
I think it really costs more to build a door than it costs to buy one.
The window was $79.00 + shipping, the Lock was $30 + shipping, the metal was about $30.00 and the lumber about $20.00 the hinge (for both doors) $35.00 and about $20 for Miscellaneous stuff.
Then it took me an entire day to make and install it!
You can buy a manufactured door for about $300 delivered, and it takes you longer to get it out of the box than it does to install!
I only had one major screw up on the metal. But nobody was around to see it or hear me yelling so its all good.
Now....its Miller Time!
Happy Trails
