Looks real good... I think we've all miscalculated. So much for the superior parochial school education I got, I apparently can't do basic math.  I was an inch off when I rebuilt the rear doors of Road Foamie. I couldn't use spray foam to fix the mistake but I should have used it to shut my pie hole during my obscenity laced tirade :x :x :o Can't wait to see the next step. Nose or rear door?

Thanks Guys , just fighting the everyday rain and the horseflies (little buggers :x worst season ever...) hopefully today I can get the other top panel glued up and start the keystone ... I did make a quick run to the Grocery for food and more cans of Great Stuff ... :D

Not to worry , my math is dead awful ... as one can readily see... ...

Got the last piece glued up , measured the keystone ... 8.25” bottom , 9.75” top X 10’long ... an angle cut ... grrrr!!! I’ll just set up two boards staggered and cut it with the hot wire bow ... most accurate way I can think of .... at the moment ...

Ps. if i’m boring everybody with these pictures , please let me know ..

Will the keystone cut produce a flat top that will mess up the otherwise perfect curve? Maybe just one more small kerf cut section?????

Yes, Schmaybe a kerf or two , but the keystone will be 4.5” thick , so I can round out the excess nicely ... just more sanding .... going to be a lot of that :o ... Stupid me , I should have done this when it was Cool weather ... :duh:

Just a thought, but what about cutting the keystone to the narrowest width and back filling the long triangular gaps with canned foam ?
Since you've got the ladder out anyway... :D

W2, that’s entirely possible ... I’ll try this way first and if it doesn’t fit , we’ll just spray foam it in ... 8)

Raining again , so I threw the tarp over it ... again .. getting good at that now ... much practice ...

So , inside the Studio , I laid out the Keystone ... allowing for the extra inch of thickness for “rounding" ... Too tired after the Heat and swatting flies all day ... grrr! Will hot wire the keystone out tomorrow ... once I’m better rested and have an attitude adjustment ...

OK, I got the first angle cut on the Keystone by using boards as templates ... Had to measure carefully the edges of the boards where the wire would ride on would line up with the intended cut ... Came out OK, a little sanding will true things up quickly ... here’s the pics , on to the second cut now ...

Ned , not yet as I know ... been sorta’ “lost in time” building this ... dawn to dusk ...

Here’s the keystone ... a little sanding (outside) and we’ll check the fit .... if it’s too Large , we’ll sand more .... if it’s too small  (that Math thing) , there’s spray foam ... :D

Minutes later ...

And it Fits !!! :o ... :dancing :woohoo: Buttered up the sides with T2, slid it in and clamped it with a 10’ board... There is a bit that sticks up ... plenty for trimming and rounding .. 8)
