Spent too much time at Lakehurst NJ flying foam models in the old Hindenburg hanger (hanger #1) ... I knew there was something familiar about that shape

...
Pretty cool now , only 85F

Hope it’s nice in the morning .... really want to get the nose finished and start sanding / shaping ... then the back wall/door framing and more foam ... canvas is on the way so hopefully we’ll get this thing “dried in” so we can get on to the "interior decorating" ...
Hmmm? Wonder what the Hindenburg looked like on the inside ...

It was light and had a “gasbag” in it .... just like mine eh ? ...
NOTE: One thing that has become obvious to many of you ... in my attempts to save Coin , and using the foam blocks that had to be cut ... er, some of my sheets were thicker than the others

... Those pesky paddleboarders took the premium (uniform thickness) sheets and have since abandoned their project (after we fired them from the band)
IF , I had used the more expensive uniform thickness sheets of the Blu or Pink foam , this would have been a whole lot easier .... and requiring less great Stuff ... This has been a challenge , even for me ... Good thing the “skin” will cover the multitude of sins ...

Just sayin ‘ ...
