I used round toothpicks to hold the trim in place, which worked well. But the glue kept running to the bottom and dripping off.
Sanding the plastic is a good idea, and would certainly help, but I've good about 90 ft of trim to do, and the gripper works well.

Hey tac, have you thought about using Great Stuff as an adhesive? The stuff seems to stick to everything and you need to knock it down when using it, but if you can control the foaming and swelling, it might work. Not too hard to sand either if it gets outta control and you can't get it knocked down before it dries. Just a thought...

Here's a close up of the Gripper.

I like the look of that drywall edging. I think it could be useful in a number of areas. (And cover up a multitude of sins I'm likely to commit. )

I installed some of the rounded corner yesterday.
The lower curve is as tight as it will go. I should probably have trimmed several tabs just a tiny bit as they overlapped slightly, but by the time i saw that everything was covered in gripper and pinned in place.
I plan on using corner molding on every exposed corner. You can't see in the picture , but I put corners on the inside of the bottom as well.
These overlapped the outside corners, but seemed to get good adhesion. This should protect the bottom pretty good.

Hey TAC, you're off to a good start. Glad to see that.

Over here I've gotten spread too thin with trying to figure out the new Winter Warrior with fiberglass etc. I didn't have the time, energy or resources to figure out the foamie too. I'm glad you have the time, energy and resources to figure out the foamie. We'll be watching with great interest.

So I played around with the drywall molding. I cut every other hole, and it nicely bent into this.

So TAC, Are you adhering the moulding with just Gripper. If so, I am amazed at the adhesion you're getting and I used Gripper. Wow!!! BTW, I so wish I had thought of that before I did my build

I'm just using Gripper, I tried TB2 and it didn't work at all for me...
But I was using it upside down on smooth plastic.

The Gripper is doing great, plus everything will be covered in canvas.

I covered the door in canvas using TB2. I was going to use Gripper, but GPW's results showed that TB2 was better... Thanks GPW !
I still like Gripper for the molding.

I got some more molding on today, the right side is almost done. I still have to do the front inside bottom.
