Mount it under the corner of choice of the floor with just a caulked hole drilled in the floor for an AC cable to come in through. Run that cable to a standard outlet box on one of the ribs and VOILA! You have shake proof, loss proof and water proof electrical connections for plug in to somebody's wall socket. You can either spend the extra money for a male socket for the under floor box or just make your own short extension cord with two male ends. Just make sure to always plug the trailer end in first as those pins will be live when the shore side power is plugged in. Not up to code, but it works. I've found that RV places will rape you for the male wall sockets but the big box stores can order one for you if they don't have them on the shelves.

In fact I pointed out the hazards of the WRONG METHOD. And you might also notice that I even tell why, how and where to get the CORRECT parts to use.
Make sure to read everything, in context, before offering condemnation. There are those who might say that building with foam and gluing it to plywood with paint and canvas might be irresponsible. And yet, here we are suggesting just such actions.
