I just got done building and mounting my floor.
Now comes the phase of sealing the wood.
I was thinking about using an epoxy resin then painting it. But I was curious if there was any better routes? Or any experience to speak-up about?

After a hard cure be sure to wash the amine blush off before sanding, filling, or any other operation. The amine blush is sort of a waxy like substance. It's okay to do wet layups, but after a hard set you have to get rid of it. Washes off with water.
