Would that Park happen to be Gifford Pinchott??
Ya know Ross Hill is coming up, July 16, 17 & 18.
Same bunch of "Crazies" as TearStock......a little more concentrated though.
Happy Trails

Until today!
I plan on doing some fall camping (and possibly some winter camping) so I've decided to make some removable insulation panels that will hopefully give the convertible Scuttlebutt a longer camping season!
Its just going to be 3/4" foamboard insulation cut to fit between the roof spars, and then another layer of 3/4" insulation below spars that will create a "ceiling." The 3/4" insulation that fits between the spars will be glued to the full 3/4" insulation "ceiling" so that there will only need to be 2 or 3 completed panels instead of a bunch of small pieces of insulation.
Had to start the project in Lowes parking lot since I couldnt fit the full sheets in the trailer...
And the meager beginnings...
I got one panel finished, but didnt get a picture of it yet. Its the main ceiling panel that goes from the fan to the galley wall. More pictures tomorrow I promise!
All of this work is just going to be the first version. Once I get something made up that I like, there will be a cleaner more "finished" version down the road.

dmckruit wrote:Zach, you can get yourself one of those small electric ceramic heaters for when it gets cold out. I brought mine along on our camping trip this past weekend on our trip to Erie. We took my nephews popup and we were unable to get the popups propane heater working, so the ceramic heater came in handy. We had it on a low setting and we were nice and toasty. They are only around $20 and you don't have to worry about carbon monoxide.
