I made a little tutorial

Postby Weirdnerd » Thu Dec 23, 2010 9:20 pm

On the makezine website, I got so many friends and family wanting to "see" the teardrop I made ( I became some sort of " celebrity" due to my wife telling everybody...hehehe), and put a bunch of pictures over there....It helps me "show and tell" without having to bring them home...any suggestions are welcome.

Very nice. I spent 3 days on windows movie maker, to make a 12 min. DVD to mail out. I could barely to get anyone to look at photos I e-mailed, but they would watch the TV.

No kidding, My daughter and I had a " test run" sleeping in the camper some night on early spring, it was raining and close to 30 degrees outside, when I heard a loud "pop" and giggling, then it came clear, she farted (deadly little seven year old I have) that's when I decided that the cost of a vent fan was worth its weight on gold....

Great job!! That should be a "sticky" and will help a lot of people get the basic idea of a tear drop.

WeirdNerd,

Outstanding....tutorial and camper. Thanks for taking the time to do a show-n-tell.

Trying to build almost the exact same style camper. (a 6"x10"...got the frame about 70% complete). Only difference is I'm trying to incorporate a canoe rack on top. Hope I can PM you if you get time.

Fire away, I can help as much as I can...I have to scan my electrical drawing....the camper has 9, 12 and 24 volts...an eclectic mixture I needed due to the lights belonging to an airplane, the speakers rescued from an old computer and the fan working on 12 volts...

Great tutorial. I think I'll direct my curious friends to it. I think that sometimes they don't get the idea

very cool! I've been making an 'Instructible' while building my cubbie. I can't wait to post it. I like the hinged shelf you made - I'm going to have to copy that!!
