Thanks Nathan.

I uploaded photos from this weekend at Arrow Rock Missouri.

Here are a few photos of the upgrades from last week.

Image
New cabinet doors with reproduction vintage National Parks stickers covered with Helmsmans. The latch is leather with a snap.

Image
Side table.

Image
Upper hatch support. I hate the inside of my hatch.

Image
Lower hatch support. I might replace the lower pin with hinges.

I also made latches out of leather and snaps to hold the doors open and to hold the covers in my hatch closed.
Thanks to Jeff and Rick for the leather and also to Nathan for the side table hinge and for sending me the link to the park stickers.

Folks I have to share a couple of photos I took of Darren's updates. The doors with the stickers are just awesome.

I also like the chains to hold back his unique necktie curtains

The side table is going to be a handy addition. The dimensions are well thought out for Darren's rig.

I worked all winter on The Plywoodie and didn't post any of the changes, I've been wanting to get out camping and take some photos.

Anyway I changed out my vent cover. The old one was sagging so I had an alteration shop convert one of my canvas bags to a cover. The bag is a Cafe Press one. I find this great for keeping the sun out of my eyes in the morning and for when it's cold but you still need to keep the vent open, it stops direct drafts from coming through but lets the all important fresh air come in.

Lots more upgrades to report on so I'll post more later.

I absolutely love all the little details. Especially the doors and reproduction of stickers. The cover for the vent is ideal! I wonder if I can do something similar with velcro instead of snaps?

The outside table is fabbo! I would like to fabricate one for my reverse TD since I have no galley. That way, the goldens would be wrapping their leads around the table legs like they do now.

Thanks for sharing!!
Hugs,
Ratkity

I've modified the side table some. The "legs" on the table now fold flat and I've added these L shaped brackets to the inside of the trailer. The one on the far right.

Image

That way if I get stuck in the rain again I'll have a back rest to lean up against.

I replaced the Tabasco signs with personalized ones.

Here's the one on the AC cover.

Image

Here's the one in the galley.

Image

Both are mirrors that I etched away the silver from the back. The one in the galley I backlit with small neon tubes. I'm not happy with the light pattern so I'm looking for different options to light it up.

Image

Note the funny texture in the tree and sky in that image. It's the reflection of my popcorn ceiling in the mirrored parts.

And I changed the hatch supports a little.

I added hinges to the supports and it makes it a lot easier to open and close the hatch.

Image

They fold down nice and secure now when not in use.

Image

That's all for now.

Thanks,
Darren

Darren said "Electrical fire. Never bypass a fuse! Never!"

very good advice, I would add never overload a circuit.

Thanks guys.

Earl, I still have a huge list of adds and changes I want to do. I have some interesting ideas for galley and porch lighting, just have to find the materials I need.
