A few years back I had some ant (maybe termite too) infestation behind the siding and trim of a corner of my house. Most, if not all, of the ants are gone now. However, a woodpecker continues to make holes in the corner wood trim pieces (8'7"x3.5"x0.75"). I have already replaced one trim piece with pressure-treated wood. Didn't slow him down a bit. So... What can I get from the big box stores that looks like wood but will prevent the woodpecker from making holes? I have received a recommendation for HardieBoard already. Thanks.

An' he'p the pore an' needy ones 'at clusters all about,
