I wonder if I can get a hitch for one of these?

I was shooting cars for another auction catalog. This particular collector knows me well, and just hands me the keys to his cars to go shoot. Well, the six-figure cars, up until today.

I was actually surprised that he gave me the keys and let me take two of his vintage Ferraris out to photograph, including this 1973 Daytona Spyder. It's a real Daytona, not a Miami Vice Daytona.

Oh-mah-gawd. I had it out for a little over an hour, and I want one. I wonder how much I can get for one of my kidneys.

What other organs can I live without?

I think giving up the right arm it would cost might make shifting a little tough CD

What a fantastic car 8)

The Daytona has always been one of my favorites. What was the other one?

You could sell your brain, just make sure to disclose that you are selling it in "as is" condition. :R
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

My brother used to have a 308I (and yes I had it, and my wife's I30,up to 130). He was getting off the fwy more than a bit too fast, lost control, did a 180, and ended up on the side of the offramp unscathed. Of course, all of this was viewed by one of "California's Finest" who moseyed over after the dust settled. His only comment: "I'm surprised you hung on to it as long as you did". They both drove off shaking their heads (but my brother reports his knees were still knocking!).

As I remember it was a bit hard to get used to shifting it, was noisey, and hot inside w/o a/c.

Cheers,

Gus

Well, whatever organ it is you decide to part with, be aware that e-bay will not let you sell it to highest bidder. Apparently, someone did try selling a kidney a while back and people were actually bidding until the folks at e-bay discovered it and pulled the item.

How many pints of blood do you need to sell in order to buy that Ferrari? It could be worth it!!!!  ooooo shiny!!!! 8) 8)

The other Ferrari was also a Daytona, but it was a coupe.

The other two cars were a 1964 AC Cobra, and a Porsche 356 Cabriolet.
