Hey Gang,
Just a quick update - We attended the Fall Foliage Gathering in West Virginia a couple of weeks ago - Had a great time, beautiful weather, good folks. The kids had fun. It was the first appearance of the Weekender-for-5 at a teardrop/small camper gathering. It went down to the 30's, but our little Walmart ceramic heater kept the camper warm.
Posted more pictures from the West Virginia gathering, including pictures of other campers in attendance, here:

This afternoon I drove the camper over to the Harvest House/Asheville Community Center to show "Jim" in the wood shop.
Those who remember the beginning of this build thread will recall I started my build there, at the Harvest House. Jim and the wood shop were a tremendous help in getting my build started.
I have not gotten back over there in a long time, due to changes in my work schedule, but I had time today and wanted to show him the camper!
This is Jim, the wood shop mentor at Harvest House/City of Asheville Community Center
By the way, I have been really enjoying giving "tours" and showing folks the camper.
My wife has been asking when I am going to "finish" it, including the rest of the trim, the 2nd coat of paint. She wants me to paint or decal some design on it, so it is not plain white.
She also wants us to come up with a more personalized name for it, than "Weekender-for-5". So, it will be back to work on it again soon!
