Hello,
My name is David. I enjoy Pina Coladas, getting caught in the rain (but not on the motorcycle), and cooking large cuts of meat in big metal buckets.
The wife and I recently inherited what can best be described as a small wooden coffin one might sleep in while camping. Her uncle used it on hunting trips and has recently built a larger 'gypsy tent'. The trailer needs some work, and I'm actually tempted to rip it down to the frame and start over as the wife, child, and I do not fit in it in it's current state. I'm hoping to widen it beyond the edges of the frame out to the wheel width to try and get a queen sized blowup bed in it.
I've helped dad build boats and am real familiar with all things fiberglass, so the new incarnation will be sealed up more water-proof than a duck's tookuss.
I've been lurking on this site for a while and will be stealing everyone's great ideas. I will try to give credit where I can remember where I saw it first.
No idea on a timeline at this point. The wife and I are buying a new house in a few months to move closer to work, which will hopefully free up some time shortly after as it currently takes over an hour to get home each night.
I will probably keep lurking here for a bit, but at least ya'll know I'm here, so I'm no longer 'stalking'.
Happy trails to those that are rolling and watch the pointy end to those that are still building.
