Concerning the parents:
Slow did pretty well. His shyness paid off because Dad got to talk...and talk...and talk...When Dad asked me about him this morning I knew Mike had more than passed. He also met my mom, sister, nephews and some of my best friends. They are all raving about him. My puppy went wild over him.

Better keep Slow's mind busy. He's gonna need it.

Grant, I put in a call to AAA for a tow for ya. When I said it was a dozer they said call someone else. Should be safe there as no one can steal it!

Angie, who would not be shy meeting all those people at once, He was a brave man to take on everyone. He must feel you are worth it!

My cousin and brother were SUPPOSED to come to a bbq. Wound up being only folks and us. Right before hand he met my landlords, right after bbq met two of my good friends. Next day he met a good friend of the family's, we followed Dad and the friend to an auction....where he REALLY got to hear Dad chatter. Lunch with my sister and nephews a few towns away that afternoon. My sis gave him a huge hug.

My big dog was abused by a dumb kid, she has a hard time warming up to men. She likes Mike, but the pup is an attention whore so it was hard for her to get any time in.

Poor guy, looks like he's stuck with me.

Coffee enema sounds great for someone I know.... :FNP

I put my vacation request in so it looks like were moving from maybe to committed. Its a 7 hour drive from our house so we'll be getting in later in the day on Thursday. Did someone get a pot luck list posted somewhere? Is it Friday or Saturday?

Ok, so anyone who has a teardrop and claustrophobia, I need help: There's a cowboy on here who I see is debating about whether to put two doors on his next teardrop. He seems to think he can handle his woman rolling out of bed by rolling over him, or worse, SHE won't mind if HE rolls over HER to get out of bed. He also thinks she can handle intense body heat in the summer camping from having a small bed. :worship:

He has a serious disease. It is called Terminal Bachelor Brain. Symptoms may include:
-Being messier than the average messy woman
-Preferring cattle medications over human treatments
-Buying items based solely on their use "someday" or being a "great deal!"
-Creating/building items suited for only one person or a very large man
-Not using proper hygiene/manners
-Not recognizing basic symptoms of PMS, aka Mad Cow Disease, aka Potential Murder Suspect, aka Punish Men Severely (failure to recognize the symptoms of PMS may result in anger, apologies, the use of credit cards for chocolate and, in severe cases, castration)
-Creating meals that a hungry dog would run from
-Requesting affection after handling something with a strong stench, such as dead skunk or pulling a calf
-Allowing pets to sleep in the bed at all times regardless of action taking place
-Hoarding collectibles

Warning: these symptoms CAN and MAY occur in women, resulting in the diseases Cat Lady Syndrome or Clueless Single Brain. Additional symptoms of these include:
-Hoarding of animals
-"Why me?" and "Men are jerks" being repeated ad-nausea
-Pink and Miranda Lambert music filling 90% of their music collections

Treatment is usually good friends pointing out and laughing at the person when the problem arises...or several arguments....

Okay, that was fun. For the record, bout half of those I made up off the top of my head. But I'm sure a lot of men and women will agree they sound about right.

Lucky for me, my guy listens and he knows I'm open to listening to him. I love Slow very much....and lets face it, when I'm sleepy and not feeling good myself, I can think of all sorts of crazy things.

I encourage those of you attending Walk the Winds to help me. Please submit any and all larger teardrop designs to Slowcowboy for consideration. And if he attempts to use them as kindling, please email them to me. :wine:

About permanent bachlor mode;
The "EX" came home and saw my craftsman wrenches in the dishwasher and went balistic.
I told her I also put car and motorcycle parts in the dishwasher.
That put gasoline on the fire. She said "Her dad never did that"
To which I asked "What was your first clue I wasn't her dad?"
Did I mention she's my ex.

Ok Angie and slow, the answer is 5 wide and 10long with two doors. I shall repeat for clarity, two doors. :? Slow I am sure has not considered that he is ( :frightened: gasp) getting older! As he inches towards 50 ( and trust me on this I am both a nurse and married to a man who will be ( double gasp) 60 tomorrow), he will be getting up between 2 and 4 times a night to visit the tree that needs watering. Since you are the claustrophobic one and thus need to be by the door, he will be crawling over YOU, thus waking you up each time, making you grumpier than a skunk tangling with a porcupine in the am. Therefore skunk stew for breakfast is a really possibility as You are sure as hell not getting up any time in the near future since you were woken up 3 times by a big lug of a cowboy crawling over you in the night. Unless he wants to go back to his bachelorhood, I have the solution, two doors and 5 wide. Did I mention two doors? :D

Many folks are happy with 4 1/2 wide, but you mentioned claustrophobia , so I would suggest 5 x 10. That is what we have. With 10 long you can have plenty of room before the cabinets. My husband is slightly claustrophobic and he is completely comfortable.

Not sure you mentioned the 2 doors and how important they are. Did not know that skunks and porcupines were in the same location.

Hey Slow:

I'm planning on being around Laramie on the 14th, you want me to stop by and show you how to get to Pinedale?

Any suggestions of what to see around Laramie? I see there is a scenic road Snowy Range Road, that is supposed to be a good picture taking trip. I'll be killing a day or so in Laramie so open to suggestions.

There are several thrift stores/flea markets in the area. You could try pickin up a young hottie near the university :FNP
