I've been trying to keep it a secret, but my theme for my teardrop trailer is All Wood! 10 years ago, not having seen but one TD, I decided to design and construct one made entirely out of wood. I got the cheapest 1/4" plywood that Lowes sells and a bunch of white pine boards and went to work. No metal can be seen on my rig, since it has a hand-carved wooden tongue, wooden hitch with wooden safety chain, a wooden camel-back trunk for the AC, wooden spoked wheels, wooden fenders, wooden windows with wooden dowels for holding them open, wooden doors with wooden handles, wooden drip moldings over the doors, wooden plugs to hide all screws, wooden lower falsework to hide metal HF frame, wooden bumper, wooden hand-turned Model A style tail lights, hand carved license plate frame, wooden TD shaped clearance lights and wooden fold-away landau bars to hold up the hatch lid.
Then, since it looked so plain, I added a wooden satelite dish on the roof connected to a wooden flip-down Sony plazma TV, (which gets great Woodpecker and Pinochio videos), a wooden 2-slice pop-up toaster, a lathe-turned wooden percolator coffee pot, a wooden dutch oven, a wooden papertowel holder, a one-place setting of wooden plate, cup and saucer, fork, knife, spoon and napkin holder, a wooden countertop and removable clamp-on wooden table, wooden knots for cabinet pulls, wooden roof vent, a number of wooden hand carved mustache overlays to cover dumb mistakes made during building, and last of all.........a mattress and pillow filled with left-over sawdust and wood shavings......(Just kidding about that last one).

Roly....I wooden think of anything else I wooden want to add to it, wooden you?
