Well a little update on our tear. Jack Frost decided to put the little guy through the ringer as a combination of condensation and a cheap silver-backed tarp stained the aluminum skin pretty bad. I'm not looking forward to cleaning and polishing this thing when the weather warms up! But worse case scenario my buddy and I are going to wet sand the entire thing and then polish it.
But our annual trip to the desert for Easter weekend is in the planning phase so I figure I'll dig the trailer out from behind my neighbors house and make sure she's ready. Here's what I got when I pulled the tarp off...

I'm desperately hoping that the "sagging" that appears in the last picture is just an illusion from the surrounding reflections and not actual roof sag. That would break my heart.

But I'm going to check that out when I get home from work. I didn't even notice it until I looked at these pictures.
On the to-do list is making sure all the wiring is still working good. Getting some sort of good battery setup and testing my new generator out with the 110v system. Since Easter is a little early this year it's most likely going to be a chilly one so I want to make sure I can run a little heater or heat blanket through the night. Once the weather warms up a little I'm going to tackle the exterior finishing and then move inside and get some base trim down and clean it out!
I'm getting excited to use this thing again!!!!
Oh, I almost forgot to mention. I'll soon have to modify the back shelf and convert it to a bunk bed! My wife and I are welcoming our first baby in July!
