I'm with Norm on this one. I would pick something else, like boat hull paint (although I realize that may be more $$).

Are you referring to some type of marine vinyl paint? Or a solid sheet of vinyl material?

No, the marine vinyl is the fabric backed flexible stuff used for seat cushions and Tonneau covers; like they used to put on car roof tops.

The hull paint I am less familiar with, but I think it is a two part epoxy.

I've owned a couple mobile homes in the past and coated the roofs
every other year or so with the aluminum roof coating, so I have
plenty of experience with it. This was before they came out with
the new white coatings that are now available and which are more
expensive. I do not have experience with them, but I wouldn't consider
using them either.

It will also ruin your clothes if you rub against it as it will easily rub off.
It is a "coating", not a "finish". It doesn't get hard like paint or other products
that are meant to be used as an exterior wall finish. You are asking for a mess if you
use it as an exterior 'finish' for you walls or roof that is easily accessible to touch.
Besides, it'd make any TTT ugly looking if you used it, and I'm sure you'd want
all of your efforts in building the TTT to look the best thay can.

No direct experience with them - But:

The first says it is asphalt based 'with rubber added' [paraphrasing].
It'd have the same problems the 'aluminum Mobile Home roof coat' does.
I'd stay away from it.

The second one, the 'Henry's', has been mentioned/discussed on here, but I can't
recall on which thread. You'll have to search that out. The info provided doesn't
list wood - in any of its forms - as a surface that it is recommended it be used on.
So draw your own conlusions on that. It might work - it might not work. Decide
if you're willing to chance that, and if you're willing to lose the money it
costs and the time involved in its application it it doesn't work.

It's interesting to try new [to us] products, but there is always a possibility,
that if used in a manner other than recommended, it may not work or
cause one more problems that will need to be dealt with later. It's the old
'Sometimes you win - Sometimes you lose.'

Got a start on my build over the last few days. Here are a few pictures. I wasn't too let down by the harbor freight trailer. I was glad to see that it is all 1/8" steel. We welded a few key spots to be sure it will be very strong. I also sprayed it a dark green.

Are you refering to putting that much weight on a card table or when your wife finds out what you DID to the card table?

Canvas covered underbody. Used watered down tightbond 3.

Worked for the old airplanes, should work at 70 mph.
