Ok I have been doing some work on the tear but life keeps rearing up ya know. Last week had finally run the trailer wiring and ran it up thru too the the roof so I finally got the roof enclosed!! Now trying to dricde what to use to putty the screw holes I used to hold the skins down in places, I used Starleen2's (Thanks Scott) combinations of screws, staples and ratcheting tiedowns and 2x2's to hold the skin down to dry. I'm waiting til Thursday to order the 4" fiberglass tape to cover the seams and the side edges after I putty all the holes and places where the plywood tore (cutting with the saw). I had purchased a couple of tubs of Elmers wood putty but not sure how it will react to being epoxied and glassed over. I had planned on doing a lot this past weekend and even took today and tomorrow (tuesday) off to work on it. Well had my ex-FIL's funeral on Saturday and then the wife had stuff for us todo. Sunday she suggested getting the lights up and the yard decorated and then reminded me she had a afternoon "Holiday Tea" that husbands were invited too. Needless to say I got to work on it today (Yay), after releasing the straps on the skin I routered the overhang off and the vent hole out. I then realized that enough pressure had not been on the skin around the vent so I flattened the wifes turkey baster, hey she caused all the time away from the build the last 2 months

and the reinserted titebond 3 back under the edges and cut some 12" boards down and clamped all the edges back down! Don't worrk already have the wife a new bastier coming with a bunch of Pampered Chef stuff she wanted for Christmas

. Then I started working on the hatch again only instead of redoing it I started putting in supports to stiffen the hatch. I also started cutting the skins for the hatch and another stinking seam. I was going to take pics but some else had taken to school and couldn't remeber who she loaned it too

. So I'll be picking up a new one of those this weejend also! Well any way tomorrow I will be cutting some doors I had to change out at work down to fit the cabinets in the galley and the cabin. Then will start sanding the sides and doors on the exterior and may try and mount the doors but we'll see as tomorrow is 90% chnace of rain here. Well thats it with the update, except we have decided how its getting finished! Afetr we epoxie it and get it scuffed up I will bepainting it a nice red color and the 4" fom the edge on the side and the top will be a glossy black to mimic trim. I'll just be glad to get it to that point!
Have a great week!
